The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice to teach undergraduate courses in criminal justice and engage students in research. The ideal candidate will possess a doctorate in Criminal Justice or a closely related field, with a preference for those with teaching experience in policing, law, and research methods
Job Summary
Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate classes in criminal justice, including general education courses and courses in the candidate's field of specialization.
Preference will be given to applicants who have teaching or research experience in one or more of the following fields: policing, law and legal practice, research methods, or fields that otherwise compliment current department strengths.
Candidates will be expected to teach in person on the UAM campus; experience with online teaching and field experience in areas of specialization is highly desirable.
