Job Summary

  • The Quality Engineer will provide support and improvement of internal manufacturing processes, working with cross-disciplinary teams to improve quality and productivity targets.
  • Daily support will include technical problem solving, quality system implementation and auditing, new product launch management, and internal/external supplier corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
  • 3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience
  • 2 years of direct manufacturing, in-plant experience
  • Demonstrated program management experience
  • Expertise with APQP, Lean, Six Sigma, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, VAVE
  • Use of standard measurement tools
  • Lead auditor or competence within ISO-9001/TS-16949/AS 9100 quality systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical software
  • Ability to effectively interact and influence in a matrix organization
  • Active knowledge of high volume manufacturing, assembly and distribution
