Job Summary

  • Part-time faculty have primary responsibility for online instruction and outreach to approximately 70 students, teaching courses that begin monthly or quarterly and last eight weeks using Blackboard LMS.
  • Faculty are expected to follow university policies, provide timely interaction and feedback to students, participate in curriculum development and training, maintain accurate records, and engage in professional development.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Ph.D. or terminal degree preferred for graduate teaching
  • Five years of professional experience
  • Faculty Orientation Training Course completion
  • Degrees from accredited institutions
  • Knowledge of ABET accreditation standards
  • Online teaching experience preferred
