Job Summary

  • Be responsible for and lead the certification activities for aircraft seating products, with the Boeing Commercial Airplanes business unit, to produce STCs that permit post-delivery installation of new seating products.
  • Perform analytical and finite element (FE) calculations, assess and predict structural failure modes and perform root cause analysis when needed.
  • Our international team, with strong presence s in Hamburg and Munich, specializes in interior retrofit projects, ranging from halon fire extinguisher replacements to full cabin tube strips.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Stress/Structures/Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
  • 8+ years' experience in commercial aircraft design
  • Experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for Structures
  • Demonstrated experience with certification under EASA Part 21J
  • Experience within seat development and certification
