Job Summary

• The Medical Technician is responsible for assisting the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures, capturing accurate and detailed documentation of the encounter into the EMR in a timely manner, and assisting nurses with directing patient flow, inventory, and following up on labs.
• Ensuring Department of Health (DOH) and CLIA compliance of site lab and exam rooms is a key responsibility, including logbook maintenance and proper handling of specimens.
