Job Summary
The Student Intern will assist the Clinical Epidemiology Department in surveillance activities, data collection and quality improvement initiatives for the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC).
During the internship the student will be educated in subjects to prepare for future career in infection prevention and have the opportunity to sit for the Associate – Infection Prevention and Control (a-IPC) certification.
Under the direction of the Lead Education IP and IP Supervisor, provides data and quality improvement support to facilitate the reduction of healthcare acquired infections, quality care and patient safety.
