AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Writer for a 12-month contract in Barcelona, responsible for creating technical reports and publications to support health technology assessments (HTA) and patient access to innovative medicines. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in medical writing, particularly related to HTA submissions and health economic models, along with a strong understanding of statistical analysis principles.

Job Summary
You will play a crucial part in the development of high-quality technical reports and publications that meet the rigorous requirements and expectations of HTA agencies and policy decision-makers to support patient access to our innovative medicines.
Collaborating closely with HTA modellers, statisticians, and payer evidence experts to interpret complex data, translate sophisticated analyses, and distill key insights into clear, concise, and compelling written evidence.
As part of our new Centre of Excellence, there will be opportunities to learn and further develop skills, as well as spread your knowledge and increase the overall capabilities in the organisation, particularly in the evolving landscape of AI in medical writing.
