Job Summary
The Medical Director directs and oversees the medical components of the Hospice patient care program to ensure high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered end-of-life care.
The role requires reviewing clinical information for each patient to provide written certification that the life expectancy is six months or less if the illness runs its normal course.
The position serves as an active member of the Interdisciplinary Group and acts as a medical consultant available on a 24-hour basis to address terminal illness needs.
