Job Summary

  • Under general supervision, schedule, coordinate and inspect permitted construction of commercial and residential driveways and public utilities on the state highway right-of-way in an urbanized area where a large proportion of the permits involve a high level of engineering complexity.
  • Enforce the rules and regulations for control and protection of state highway right-of-way in an assigned area and insure that all traffic operations guidelines are met.
  • Provide strong technical and management support for highway maintenance activities in the area; respond to the needs of business owners/managers, property owners, and government officials.
