Job Summary

• The purpose of this position is to assist the Transportation Mobility and Safety Division Director in directing and overseeing statewide programs related to transportation mobility, traffic operations, system management, and freight permitting.
• This position provides leadership for the Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSMO) Unit, the Traffic Management Unit (TMU), and the Oversize/Overweight Permit Unit (OSOW).
• The incumbent must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, particularly the heads of organizational units that are likely to be impacted by the activities or actions of this Group.
