Job Summary

  • Lead the development, planning, communication, compliance, and administration of all benefits and well-being programs, demonstrating creativity and thought leadership.
  • Partner with leadership to define, develop, communicate, and execute a competitive strategy for employee benefit programs, well-being benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off programs.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and carriers, monitoring service levels, costs, and utilization to ensure positive employee experience and value to the organization.

Key Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years leadership experience
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) highly preferred
  • Experience with large healthcare, senior living or non-profit preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and well-being program experience
  • Thorough understanding of benefit and wellness plan design and management
  • Experience with implementation and communication of employee benefit and wellbeing programs
  • Proven history of influencing senior leadership
  • Experience in leading large-scale projects with heavy change management
  • Demonstrated experience building and coaching a high performing team
  • Ability to work with confidential information with high levels of discretion
  • Thorough knowledge of State and Federal wage and hours laws
