The position requires designing and managing complex preclinical studies to evaluate hair cell regeneration candidates using gene therapy and other regenerative approaches.

Base: $163,500 - $281,600; Bonus: Company bonus depending on performance; Benefits: Comprehensive package including 401(k), pension, medical, dental, vision
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Ph.D. in neuroscience or related field
10+ years experience in inner ear biology
Experience with AAV-based delivery systems
Preclinical study design and execution
Management of external academic collaborations
Nice-to-have
Track record of IND contributions and patent filings
Experience with GLP toxicology studies
Proven ability to translate discoveries to clinical stage
Familiarity with hearing restoration business development
Ability to operate in matrixed pharmaceutical environment
Key Requirements
Ph.D. required in neuroscience, cell biology, or biomedical engineering
Minimum 10 years combined industry/academic experience
Direct FDA interaction experience preferred
Named inventor on patents in regenerative medicine
