  • Performs maintenance and repair of facilities and mechanical equipment in a professional manner under the direct supervision of Journeyman Mechanic or higher-level craftsman.
  • Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
  • Tests equipment and machinery found in the facility’s environment, such as pumps, compressors, motors, fans, shop support equipment, mobile maintenance, facilities, airfield support equipment, non-avionics equipment and related mechanical system and components.
