Base: $80,000 - $120,000 annually; Bonus/Equity: Not specified; Benefits: Comprehensive total rewards package including medical, disability, life insurance, continuing education, paid time off, and retirement plan
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Caltrans highway design projects
MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
Development of design plans and specifications
Preparation of Caltrans PS&E packages
Compliance with Caltrans standards and guidelines
Nice-to-have
Mentoring junior staff
Collaborative and growth-oriented team environment
Flexible work environment with hybrid and remote options
Experience with InRoads or Civil 3D
Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
California PE license strongly preferred
5–10 years progressive transportation/highway design experience
Experience with Caltrans or local agency projects
Understanding of California PDPM and design standards
