  • This position enhances the nature and quality of care for a group of at-risk or critically ill neonates and infants.
  • The role provides 24/7 in-house coverage for all Neonatal Intensive Care Units as well as coverage for high-risk deliveries.

Must-have

  • Primary medical management of NICU patients
  • Preceptorship of NNP students and teaching residents
  • Advanced procedural skills like intubation and catheterization

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to specific patient population needs

Key Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing (NNP) or Physician Assistant degree
  • Current APRN license or Physician Assistant state license
  • National certification (NCC or NCCPA)
  • 2 years related nursing experience (NNP) or 3 years NICU experience (PA)
  • BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications
  • Eligible for prescriptive authority in the state of practice
