The role involves supporting the airline in-service fleet by creating quality repair solutions for aircraft structures from a design perspective.
Engineers will work on complex machines at Airbus' first dedicated engineering facility outside of Europe located on the Wichita State University innovation campus.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and comfortable working onsite a minimum of 60% of the time in Wichita, Kansas.

5+ years airframe structures experience
Interpret engineering drawings and damage reports
Create repair instructions and technical dispositions
Collaborate with static stress and fatigue teams

Knowledge of maintenance repair shop practices
Experience with Airbus computer based applications
Self-motivated and dependable work style
Ability to travel domestically up to 10%
