Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Five or more years mechanical marine experience
  • Transport Canada Second Class Engineer Certificate
  • STCW endorsement with Advanced Oil Tanker training
  • Valid Marine Emergency Duties Certificate MED D
  • High Voltage Safety Training for Marine operations

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with SAP maintenance management system
  • Working knowledge of regulatory industry codes
  • Refrigeration handlers certificate

Key Requirements

  • Transport Canada Second Class Engineer Certificate (Motor)
  • Advanced Training for Oil Tanker Endorsement
  • Valid Marine Emergency Duties Certificate (MED D)
  • Five or more years industrial mechanical/marine experience
  • Qualified residents of Newfoundland and Labrador preferred
