Job Summary

  • Payload Operations Integrations Specialists are assigned as the subject matter expert to multiple unique payloads and coordinate all efforts of pre-increment International Space Station payload readiness.
  • POI Specialists receive training and certification on relevant processes required to integrate payload and its deliverables and receive payload assignments in the form of objectives with success criteria.
  • Essential duties include assessing payloads, guiding PD teams through POIF milestones, reviewing integration documents, writing crew procedures, defining and coordinating crew training, and supporting development of real-time flight products.
