Job Summary
As a Radiochemical Intern for the United States Transuranium and Uranium Registries (USTUR), you will support ongoing radiochemical research, analytical activities, and laboratory operations.
You will assist with radiochemical sample analyses for actinide elements, including sample preparation and actinide separations, and will support the improvement and development of USTUR’s analytical protocols.

Key Requirements
Completion of approved course for laboratory assistants OR two years of laboratory experience
Training in medical technology OR college education in laboratory sciences
College laboratory science coursework in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, or Biology
Certification from WSU Radiation Safety Office or completion of training within two weeks of hire
Completion of training in blood-borne pathogens within two weeks of hire
Completion of WSU required training
Completion of CITI and other ethics training required by IRB within two weeks of hire
Completion of Hazard Communication training within two weeks of hire
