  • Conducts comprehensive behavioral & mental health (BMH) assessments as well as suicide assessments for patients who present to the Emergency Department.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, leaders, patients and families to develop safe disposition planning.
  • Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Key Requirements

  • Three years of experience in postgraduate clinical or social work
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Completion of Marcus Crisis Prevention Program within 90 days
