Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job is to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with applicable standards and policies.
The Maintenance Assistant performs routine and unscheduled maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work, while ensuring resident comfort and safety.
Confidentiality of resident protected health information must be maintained and any suspected violations promptly reported to the Administrator.

Key Requirements
Minimum 10th grade education
Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts
Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram instructions
