  • The Chair of the Department of Dental Hygiene provides administration, oversight, and strategic direction of the Dental Hygiene Department, managing academic and clinical programs, and overseeing scholarship, patient care, continuing education, service, course development, faculty & staff recruitment/development, and research.
  • Responsibilities include recruitment, hiring, and mentoring of faculty, curriculum development, management, and implementation, and overseeing all academic programs within the department.
  • The position requires the development and implementation of organizational strategies and policies, and the successful candidate will be a strong leader who can identify and implement best practices, think strategically, and plan for the long-term success of the college.
