• Patient Access Schedulers are responsible for scheduling patients for diagnostic tests and procedures as ordered by referring physicians.
• This person will be the first point of contact with patients or physician offices, and must ensure their needs are met.
• Pre-registration, creation of payment estimates, insurance verification and benefit evaluation prior to appointment is imperative.
