Wintrust is seeking a Financial Analyst for their GLM Mortgage Accounting team, responsible for cash management, general ledger entries, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, preferably in the mortgage industry, and strong Excel skills

Job Summary

  • Financial Analyst – GLM Mortgage Accounting will be responsible for supporting the Wintrust Finance Corporate Controller/Accounting Department.
  • Responsibilities will include daily cash monitoring, day-to-day cash management functions, mortgages held for sale tracking, general ledger entries, financial and investor – accounting analysis, bank and GL analysis, gain on sale allocation, as well as supporting the Corporate Controller with various special projects as needed.
  • Wintrust provides community and commercial banking, specialty finance and wealth management services through its 16 bank charters and nine non-bank businesses.
