Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator I (Nutrition) to support the State Physical Activity and Nutrition Program. Job Summary

  • The incumbent will share knowledge and guidance to the team of public health professionals who collectively address nutrition and physical activity through policy, systems, and environmental changes.
  • Duties will include providing guidance to contractors and partners on fruit and vegetable voucher incentive and produce prescription programs, food service guidelines in worksites and community settings, and healthy food standards.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field
  • Three years of experience in program coordination
  • Associate’s degree in related field and five years experience
  • Seven years of experience
  • One year of staff supervision or program management
  • Master’s degree in related field may substitute for one year experience
  • Current CDR Registered Dietitian
  • Three years experience in food procurement
  • Three years experience in fruit/vegetable voucher incentive programs
  • Three years experience in produce prescription programs
  • Demonstrated experience administering community initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience implementing community initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience providing training
  • Demonstrated experience providing technical assistance
  • Demonstrated experience writing professional communications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
