Job Summary
The Point-of-Care Coordinator (POCC) will be responsible for operational aspects and oversight of Point of Care Testing across The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The James Cancer Center, Ambulatory Network, The Ohio State University, and other community clinics.
The POCC is responsible for the education, training and competency of non-laboratory personnel (PCAs nursing, radiologist, perfusionist, anesthesiologist), compliance and other quality assurance activities for Point of Care Testing.
This position is required to evaluate current, repaired or new instrumentation and reagents.
