Smith & Nephew is seeking a Finishing Operator for their 2nd shift in Mansfield, MA, to assist in transforming machined components into finished products. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Job Summary

  • Assemble and deburr sub-assembly components using basic finishing processes such as bending, fitting, grinding, sharpening, deburring, bead blasting, tumbling, and basic blending and polishing.
  • Operate electro-polish, bead-blast, heat treat, cleaning and degreasing equipment, and when required, Laser Marking and Laser Welding systems.
  • Work in a team environment using the skills of communicating, listening and participating in developing continuous improvement on products and processes.
