Job Summary

  • Responsible for activities of diabetes education, nutrition counseling, and all other related inpatient and outpatient education.
  • Develops, plans, and implements policies and procedures, training modules, and educational materials for patients and the community in accordance with the American Diabetes Association National Review Standards for Diabetes Education Program.
  • Serves as a Diabetes subject matter expert for the Broward and Miami-Dade County communities and acts as public relations representative for community events, social media, and television media.
