It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
The cook must maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner while preparing a variety of meals including special diets.
The role includes supervising dietary staff, assisting with meal service, and reporting resident care concerns to management.

Key Requirements

Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certificate
