ChargePoint is seeking a Senior Factory Product Quality Engineer in Thailand to oversee the quality of its Electric Vehicle Charging equipment. The role involves managing quality control processes and collaborating with various teams and contract manufacturers to ensure product excellence

Job Summary

  • Independently lead CM End-To-End quality control, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), FATP in-process controls, Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT), and Out-Of-Box-Audits (OBA).
  • Act as the first point of contact for factory quality issues and drive cross-functional resolution as the Core Team Leader.
  • Partner with CM and ChargePoint internal teams to define, implement, and maintain in-process, outgoing, and incoming quality control processes in collaboration with SDQE (Supplier Development and Quality Engineering).

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Excellent English and Thai communication skills
  • Experience in electronics industries (automotive, consumer electronics, solar, EV, or battery)
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and components
  • Experience with mechanical metrology and measurement tools
  • Experience with structured problem-solving tools
  • Experience in Mechanical and Electrical Design-for-Quality (DFQ) and Design for-Manufacturability (DFM)
  • Familiar with SMT processes, PCBA manufacturing, and system or sub-assembly build processes
  • Experience with at least two of the data analysis tools Excel, Python, Tableau, SQL, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with hardware/software integration or test automation with object-oriented programming in Python
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
