Job Summary

• The CNC Machinist is responsible for supporting machining and finishing operations on gas turbine components, including post-braze inspection, EDM, steam cleaning, grit blast preparation, vision inspection, coating polishing, and laser hole clearing processes.
• In addition to executing process steps safely and accurately, this role is expected to demonstrate strong Lean behaviors, actively support problem solving, maintain 5S standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and productivity across the line.
• The CNC Machinist plays an important role in driving overall Lean implementation by identifying improvement opportunities, supporting standard work, reducing waste, and helping improve process flow and operational performance.

Key Requirements

• Diploma, technical college degree, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Knowledge in CNC machining, EDM, laser machining, finishing
• Min 2 years’ experience with steam cleaning, grit blasting, and manual or automated coating polishing
• Min 2 years’ experience working with gas turbine components or other precision aerospace/industrial parts
• HAAS or similar brand of VTB / VTL / VFB / Lathe / Milling Machine experience
