Job Summary
The Radiation Therapist applies ionizing radiation to the patient as instructed and prescribed by the physician according to departmental standards, state guidelines, and Memorial Healthcare System’s policy and procedures.
Manages patient scheduling in a technical area including simulations, field verifications, daily treatments, and cone-downs to avoid delays and or interruptions.
Collaborates with Physicians, Physicists, Dosimetrist, Chief Radiation Therapist in simulation or clinical setup process.
