The ideal candidate will have prior cooking experience, preferably in a long-term care environment, and will be responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen and preparing meals that meet dietary guidelines
Job Summary
This role is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment to ensure residents receive nutritious and appealing meals.
In the absence of the Dietary Supervisor, the Cook may assist with overseeing kitchen operations to ensure meals are prepared in accordance with facility policies, dietary guidelines, and food safety standards.
