Skills & Requirements
Must-have
SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL & MySQL expertise
AWS database services including RDS and EC2
Database performance tuning and query optimization
Database security and encryption best practices
Cloud automation tools like Terraform and Ansible
Experience with database backup and recovery strategies
Collaboration with DevOps and development teams
Nice-to-have
Exposure to Snowflake technology
Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration
Proactive database monitoring using AWS tools
Willingness to work night shifts
Strong documentation and communication skills
Familiarity with PowerShell and Python scripting
Key Requirements
10-14 years of DBA experience
Strong expertise in SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 and Oracle 12c/19c
Proficiency with Postgres versions 12 through 16 and MySQL
Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools like AWS DMS
Experience with PL/SQL, T-SQL, and PGSQL scripting
Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
Experience managing multi-AZ deployments and high availability configurations
