Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years senior experience in transmission line design
  • Advanced PLS-CADD skills for HV transmission
  • Understanding of HV transmission and substations
  • Ability to prepare clear reports and drawings

Nice-to-have

  • Chartered Status (RPEV, RPEQ, NER, CPEng)
  • Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor or TNSP experience
  • Working knowledge of PLS-Tower software
  • Experience with 500kV modelling tools
  • Collaboration across civil and structural disciplines

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Chartered Status desirable within 6 months
  • 4+ years senior experience in 220kV+ transmission design
