Job Summary
The Traction Power Technician Lead will lead a group of technicians in performing complex troubleshooting and maintenance of high-voltage traction power equipment.
This position requires working on a rotating on-call basis 24/7 to respond to rail system emergencies and restore revenue services.
Employees are eligible for a 2.5% shift differential premium if assigned to 2nd or 3rd shifts or holding a valid Commercial Driver's License.

Salary
Base: $31.96 - $39.95 per hour; Shift Differential: 2.5% premium for 2nd/3rd shifts or CDL holders; Benefits: Comprehensive package including health and retirement

High voltage electrical system repair
Overhead contact system maintenance
Rotating on-call emergency response
Safety regulation compliance FRA OSHA
Team leadership in absence of supervision

Key Requirements
Valid North Carolina Class B CDL
Five years experience with high voltage systems
Electrical engineering certificate or lineman training
Completion of CATS MOW inspection training
Pass pre-employment drug screening and physical exam
