Must-have

  • Finite element analysis of feeders and supports
  • ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section III compliance
  • ANSYS Mechanical APDL stress analysis expertise
  • 15+ years experience in nuclear feeder systems
  • Pressure boundary component thermal and seismic analysis

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with ANSYS Workbench software
  • Knowledge of LS-DYNA simulation tools
  • CANDU 6 Retube Reactor Component project background
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in multidisciplinary teams

Key Requirements

  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical from accredited university
  • Registration as Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
  • Minimum 15 years related work experience in heavy industrial environment
  • Qualified or eligible for ASME Appendix XXIII certification preferred
  • Willingness to become a Nuclear Energy Worker (NEW)
