The Health & Safety Specialist assists the Health & Safety Mgr with day-to-day tasks including equipment inspection, training, and policy development to prevent employee injuries.
Responsibilities include partnering with internal departments to manage medical, workers compensation, DOT, and Process Safety Mgmt activities, investigating incidents, and conducting job hazard analyses.
The role involves developing and delivering safety training, conducting new hire orientations, performing ergonomic assessments, and understanding emergency plans.
