Job Summary
The Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing high complexity laboratory testing on patient specimens, performing quality control and quality assurance procedures, and complying with all applicable local, state and federal laboratory requirements.
Key responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, reviewing and reporting patient results, and leading assay improvements and validations.
The role may involve acting as a team leader or delegated General Supervisor, assisting with administrative duties, and communicating shift updates and issues.
