The ideal candidate will possess significant management experience in long-term care, with a focus on training, compliance, and quality improvement

Job Summary

  • The Regional Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery and sustainability of Programs, Training & Development and Quality within the Long Term Care homes.
  • Key responsibilities include educating, orientating, coaching, mentoring and supporting Long Term Care homes' frontline teams, and promoting compliance with regulatory requirements and Extendicare standards.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years combined experience in Long Term Care at senior management level
  • Familiar with using data to drive decisions
  • Skilled in translating policies into direct practice
  • Experience in gerontology/CQI/research/adult learning/change management
  • Ability to facilitate learning for others
  • Strong leadership, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office applications)
  • Ability to reason, think analytically and conceptually
  • Valid driver's license required
