** Loggerhead Marinas is seeking a Cost Accountant to assist the Plant Controller with various accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and relevant financial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. **

Job Summary

  • Assists the Plant Controller with all general accounting functions and activities; maintains accounting systems to ensure proper accounting and recording of company transactions.
  • Performs monthly closing procedures in accordance with GAAP principles and adherence to SOX procedures and is responsible for maintaining and reconciling all balance sheet accounts and subledgers.
  • The anticipated pay range for this position is $62,800 to $100,800, annually, and this position is eligible for a short-term incentive program and comprehensive benefits.

Key Requirements

  • Proficiency in Business Objects and Product Costing Applications
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
