  • The Executive Director of Engineering and Operations is responsible for the successful management of Engineering and Operations (E&O), including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm Systems, Preventative Maintenance, Grounds, Energy Management, and Minor Renovation Projects for 5M square feet.
  • This position reports directly to the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Support Services and is a primary leader for UAMS’s work in all areas of sustainable operations, building on its national leadership in energy efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field
  • 12 years healthcare leadership experience
  • 7 years supervisory experience
  • CHFM Certified Healthcare Construction (CHC) within 1 year
