Job Summary
Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.
Leads a team of mechanical maintenance technicians and supervisors, ensuring the planning, scheduling, and execution of routine and preventative mechanical maintenance work according to quality standards.
Responsible for arranging all resources required for planned and general maintenance, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with EHS requirements.

Key Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 Years Experience on Thermal Power Plants
Minimum 3 Years Experience on Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization (WFGD) plants
Ability to read and interpret Mechanical drawings
Experience in the use of Maintenance Tools
Solid knowledge of Eskom Plant Safety Regulation
Solid knowledge of GE Vernova Permit to Work systems
