Job Summary

  • Under the general direction of the Chief Therapist, the Radiation Therapist level 2 contributes to the organizational plan of the Radiation Oncology Unit, to the quality of patient care and supports the organizational philosophy.
  • Performs complex special procedures (4D CT Respiratory Gating, HDR, TBI, SRS, SBRT, Oral and IV Contrast, Urethrogram) and monitors patient for adverse reactions and quickly seeks assistance of a nurse or physician, when appropriate.
  • Manages patient documentation in Aria for team communication, charge capture and billing reconciliation.

Key Requirements

  • ARRT Registered Technologist- Radiation Therapy or ARRT Board Eligible

  • BLS American Heart E-Card or equivalent
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida
