  • Successful candidates may train as a “Transmission Control Person” and support the control room as part of their role as a Transmission Planning Engineer.

Key Requirements

  • Engineering qualification, degree level/HNC
  • Significant relevant experience
  • Relevant similar experience in an operational role
  • Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies
  • Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
  • Knowledge of network and business data
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulatory documentation
  • Expert user of PowerOn and PI systems
  • Working knowledge of power system analysis tools
