Must-have

  • Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas
  • Clean and sterilize surgical instruments
  • Place IV catheters and draw blood
  • Take x-rays
  • Maintain patient care records
  • Clean cages and clinic premises

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of Avimark preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience as a veterinary technician/assistant
  • Comfortable working and restraining cats and dogs
  • Comfortable around blood and surgical procedures
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 40 pounds alone
  • Reliable transportation
