Job Summary

  • Allegheny Singer Research Institute seeks a Research Scientist to perform cancer-associated biomarker discovery and validation from clinically collected samples and cell line samples by tandem mass spectrometry coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC-MS/MS).
  • This includes routine calibration and maintenance of HPLC-MS/MS Systems as well as MS/MS data processing and interpretation via multiple search platforms.
  • Must have a PhD (or foreign equivalent degree) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology or a related field and technical expertise in specialized analytical instrumentations.
