Suncitypa is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN (as needed) shifts to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. Ideal candidates should possess a current LPN license, nursing degree, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician, verify the identity of the resident before administering the medication/treatment, and ensure that prescribed medication for one resident is not administered to another.
  • Ensure that your assigned work areas (i.e., nurses’ stations, medicine preparation rooms, etc.) are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
