Job Summary

  • This role leads the requirement, design, and implementation of digital control systems for HVDC applications as part of GE Vernova's green energy transition.
  • The engineer is responsible for configuring IEC61850 devices, designing LAN networks, and ensuring cybersecurity best practices are integrated into the solution.
  • Candidates will mentor team members, oversee FAT witnessing, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver complex engineering projects on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Substation Bay Controllers and Merging Units
  • Significant background in control and protection system design
  • Knowledge of Layer2&3 protocols including IPv4, OSPF, LACP, Modbus
