This role leads the requirement, design, and implementation of digital control systems for HVDC applications as part of GE Vernova's green energy transition.
The engineer is responsible for configuring IEC61850 devices, designing LAN networks, and ensuring cybersecurity best practices are integrated into the solution.
Candidates will mentor team members, oversee FAT witnessing, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver complex engineering projects on time and within budget.

Substation automation and SCADA technologies

Cybersecurity hardening for control systems

Key Requirements
Degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering
Hands-on experience with Substation Bay Controllers and Merging Units
Significant background in control and protection system design
Knowledge of Layer2&3 protocols including IPv4, OSPF, LACP, Modbus
