Job Summary

  • Provide maintenance on aircraft based at NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, Virginia, including troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft structural, mechanical, avionic, and electrical systems.
  • Additional duties include integration and de-integration of research test equipment for flight testing purposes, and performing Designated Inspector (DSI) duties.
  • The role requires travel and deployment off-site in support of NASA projects and other tasks as defined by customer needs.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with structural repair fabrication
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and U.S. Passport
  • Ability to obtain Government/Public Trust Clearance
  • Ability to obtain NASA flight physical
